About The Position

The Sr. Analyst – Scheduling Optimization is responsible for helping to make scheduling and labor management simpler and more effective for our stores. Partnering closely with the stores, Analytics, and HR, this Sr. Analyst will work to create solutions and training that will help improve scheduling / labor management today and partner with leadership to ideate on solutions that could help in the future. This role will also help to deploy various scheduling pilots in stores, writing the deployment guides and monitoring the results of those efforts. A successful sr. analyst is self-motivated and curious, demonstrates strong store and analytical skills, and communicates effectively across various stakeholders, including our stores.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • Experience leading high performing teams
  • Consulting management and/or project management.
  • Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
  • Problem solving
  • Strong Operations, Retail and/or field knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Previous in-store experience and/or experience within Store Operations
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally to launch tools, improve workflows, or set long-term goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
  • Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization
  • Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.
  • Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors
  • Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
  • Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.
  • Assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
