About The Position

Zuora is seeking a Sr. Analyst Relations Manager to translate the company's platform capabilities into evidence and narrative that elevates conversations with key industry analysts. This role is crucial in positioning Zuora as the category leader for AI monetization during a critical period of market definition. The manager will partner with Product, PMM, and executive leadership to shape analyst perceptions and ensure Zuora's evolution from a billing leader to the definitive platform for AI monetization is recognized. This is a hybrid position for those in the Bay Area, requiring three days per week in the Foster City office. Remote employees will collaborate virtually with occasional travel for office visits, analyst events, and offsites.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in analyst relations, product marketing, communications, or market intelligence in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Strong, credible relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or ISG.
  • Track record of leading high-stakes, cross-functional programs with senior stakeholders.
  • Sharp writing and message development skills.
  • Comfort with executive prep, fast feedback cycles, and high-visibility work under deadlines.
  • Judgment to synthesize market input into a clear point of view and action.
  • Independence to drive clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct exposure to usage-based, consumption, or AI monetization pricing models.
  • Experience with billing, payments, revenue recognition, quote-to-cash, or monetization platforms.
  • Product marketing experience, especially translating technical/finance capability into buyer-facing narrative.
  • Background in competitive intelligence or strategic communications during a category shift or repositioning.

Responsibilities

  • Define what "AI monetization leadership" means to analysts, building the strategy, calendar, and cadence of briefings, inquiries, and submissions to position Zuora as the category leader with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, MGI, and ISG.
  • Translate real platform capability (Monetization Catalog, Flexible Commitments, metered entitlements, revenue automation) into evidence and proof points for analysts.
  • Lead Zuora's participation in major evaluations (Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes, Buyers Guides) from RFI to customer references.
  • Identify and mobilize customer evidence to prove the story and provide third-party proof.
  • Synthesize analyst feedback on competitive gaps, market shifts, and buyer concerns into actionable recommendations for messaging, launches, and product strategy.
  • Package analyst insight, quotes, and rankings into assets for sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
