About The Position
Banijay Americas seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Participations team. Primary responsibilities will include monthly reporting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting and analysis of multiple business units and providing senior management with timely and insightful financial information to manage the business. Banijay Americas is a leading creator and producer of entertainment content, composed of production companies and facilities in the United States and across Latin America. A division of global production group Banijay, Banijay Americas includes subsidiary production companies across two continents, including 51 Minds Entertainment, Bunim/Murray Productions, Endemol Shine North America and Truly Original in the United States; Banijay Mexico and U.S. Hispanic, Endemol Shine Boomdog, and Wide Angle in Mexico; and the Brazil-based A Fábrica, Endemol Shine Brasil and Banijay Studios Brasil. Together Banijay Americas is home to more than 100 original series, including some of the biggest brands in television, and produces over 1,500 hours of original content per year.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous participations or residuals experience.
- Strong analytical and organization skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict contractual deadlines.
- Must have excellent communication skills to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred).

- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze participation statements ensuring calculations agree to contractual terms.
- Review residuals payment schedules for accuracy and instruct the residual payroll company of any needed revisions.
- Gather and review contracts, production cost reports, and other documentation to support reporting of participations and residuals.
- Assist in audits as they arise.
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
