About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Materials Planning, SIOP role within the Advanced Product Center in McKinney, TX. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule. This role requires working in a clean room environment 95% of the day wearing all required safety PPE.

Requirements

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or experience in other production driven environments.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Experience with Special Program Access.
Experience using MRP/ERP systems.
Experience with material planning, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
Experience with government contracting requirements.
Experience with MS Office 360 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook/Teams).

Responsibilities

Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Working with Process Planners and FAST staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
Preparing work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
Conducting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system.
Expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
Performing movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.
