About The Position

We are looking for an integral member of the Cards Marketing team, responsible for planning, executing and measuring Walmart Rewards Mastercard cardholder engagement, activation and retention strategies to achieve portfolio KPI objectives. This role supports the development of targeted, insight-led campaigns and customer journeys across email, SMS and in-app push, with a strong focus on customer segmentation, test-and-learn optimization, and post-campaign performance analysis. The position works closely with internal and external stakeholders including Walmart, creative services, operations, analytics, technology, legal, compliance and translation to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, accurately and in full alignment with regulatory and brand requirements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing omni-channel campaigns from briefing and segmentation through execution, measurement and optimization
  • Experience with CRM strategy, customer segmentation, trigger-based campaigns and test-and-learn methodologies
  • Strong experience analyzing campaign performance and translating results into actionable recommendations
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners in regulated or highly governed environments is considered an asset
  • Solution-focused self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work effectively within established guidelines and processes
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends and support data-driven decision making
  • Excellent organization, project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear briefs, summaries and presentations for leadership audiences
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM, campaign management or marketing automation platforms is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective lifecycle campaigns and customer journeys that support activation, usage, engagement and retention KPI objectives
  • Translate business objectives into clear campaign briefs, audience strategies, offer constructs and channel plans across email, SMS and in-app push
  • Partner with analytics and business teams to identify customer segments, behavioral triggers and optimization opportunities that improve performance
  • Brief and work closely with creative team to develop content that meets campaign objectives
  • Lead campaign setup, approvals, execution and quality assurance to ensure accurate, timely and compliant deployment
  • Monitor campaign results, identify insights and recommend enhancements through ongoing test-and-learn practices
  • Lead post-campaign analysis and prepare performance recaps with actionable insights, learnings and recommendations for future improvements
  • Track performance against key measures such as engagement, conversion, retention and incremental value contribution
  • Present results, insights and recommendations to marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Monitor marketplace trends, competitor activity and channel best practices to identify relevant opportunities and inform campaign planning
  • Bring forward customer and market insights that help shape targeting, messaging and overall engagement strategy
  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners including design, development, operations, analytics, legal, compliance, translation and retailer stakeholders
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align campaign activity with broader portfolio growth and customer engagement objectives
