About The Position

Taoti is seeking a Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Content Creation specialist to manage the social media aspect of the business. This role requires a content creator with a knack for capturing moments, understanding social media metrics and analytics for optimization, and a casual/tongue-in-cheek tone. Proficiency in tools like Canva and CapCut for creating on-brand graphics and videos is necessary. The ideal candidate should be brimming with creative ideas and passionate about leveraging AI to enhance productivity and capabilities in social media practices, covering both paid and organic strategies. This is an in-house role based in Washington, DC, requiring a high-energy individual with a big personality whose natural demeanor will translate into authentic content. Availability for occasional evening/weekend work for events is also expected.

Requirements

  • Understanding of paid and organic social media strategies.
  • Ability to determine where to invest in paid social, how much, and how to measure ROI.
  • Comfortable with the notion that this is an in-the-office kind of role.
  • Willingness to be present in the office/venue and thrive in a social environment.
  • Availability for some evening/weekend work for events.
  • Ability to take a swing at all aspects of the job and learn on the job.
  • Full-time, W2, "in-house" role based out of Washington, DC office.
  • Comfortable with minor teleworking permitted for extenuating circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Own the social media part of the business.
  • Create content, capturing moments within the agency or for clients.
  • Understand and utilize social media metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness and optimize strategies.
  • Develop and post share-worthy content.
  • Create on-brand graphics, video, and animation using tools like Canva and CapCut.
  • Generate creative ideas for social media content.
  • Leverage AI to increase productivity and enable new capabilities in social media practices.
  • Develop strategies for paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and performance analysis.
  • Create raw, spontaneous, and 'real' social media content that is not always highly produced.
  • Participate in events outside of business hours for social media takeovers or content capture.
