About The Position

The Sr. Analyst, Inventory Control will monitor the systematic and physical accuracy of external manufacturing product within the KHC network. This role supports efforts to increase visibility and ensure accuracy in the raw, packaging, and WIP space. The analyst will serve as a point of contact for system and process-driven issues impacting system accuracy, analyze approved adjustments across the network to ensure proper controls and minimize losses, and assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies for Finished Goods and Insider Support functions. Additionally, the role involves analyzing existing workflows, developing strategies for report automation and data capture efficiency, and collaborating with team managers and sites to define necessary system requirements. The analyst will identify and scope system changes impacting inventory accuracy, act as a liaison between team managers and IT to ensure technical solutions meet functional needs, and test/troubleshoot new system tools. Providing technical support, creating training documentation, and standardizing/simplifying processes across the network are also key responsibilities. The role includes identifying and leading projects for productivity, process improvements, and cost savings, and assisting the IT team with new system implementations. This position requires on-call availability every 6 weeks for a 1-week period, 24/7.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in equivalent or related field
  • Distribution / Logistics / Inventory Control Experience
  • SAP or WMS experience
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and testing systems to identify potential issues and discrepancies
  • Must have the technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand new system concepts and workflows
  • Proficiency in programming languages, database exploration, data visualization tools for analytics such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams
  • Effective in working with new teams and building relationships/partnerships
  • Mindset of continuous improvement
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
  • Position is ~20% Travel

Responsibilities

  • Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancy for Finished Goods
  • Assist in Insider Support functions
  • Analyzing existing workflows and developing strategies for report automation or data capture efficiency improvements where needed
  • Collaborate with team managers and sites to determine which system requirements are necessary to remain efficient
  • Identify and scope system changes impacting inventory accuracy and ensure proper end user communication to support issue and system change
  • Act as a liaison between team managers and IT to ensure technical solutions match functional needs
  • Test and troubleshoot any recently implemented system tools to ensure they're operating efficiently and as intended
  • Providing technical support and creating documentation to train users on new systems
  • Document processes for training and as reference for frequently asked questions throughout the network
  • Support efforts to standardize and simplify processes across the network to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Identify and lead projects focused on productivity, process improvements, and cost savings
  • Assist the IT team in implementing new system platforms for approved cutover projects
  • Required to be available on-call 24/7 every 6 weeks for 1 week at a time
