About The Position

This role contributes directly to the development of the natural gas network by studying practical and optimal solutions for various environmental imperatives. The Sr Analyst Construction Project Management will coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during the planning and design of growth, relocation, reinforcement, and replacement projects. The successful candidate will join a team of advisors who uphold high standards, support each other, and share knowledge to enhance technical and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and project management skills are crucial for managing communication and interactions across different company departments for project needs.

Requirements

  • University degree and 2+ years of relevant previous experience in planning and/or execution of construction/civil/municipal projects are required, OR combination of studies and equivalent experience.
  • Fluent French (speaking, reading, writing) is required.
  • Advanced English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) is also required.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and coordinate projects is required.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to communicate are required.
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent and a responsible driving record are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidate for the engineering profession or engineering license would be an asset.
  • Experience in managing gas network construction projects would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Enbridge’s internal tools (FRA, COMMS AFE, Oracle, Markview, eGIS, CCWS, Maximo) and internal standards and procedures would be an asset.
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of reading construction plans and computer drawing software (MicroStation, AutoCAD) would be an asset.
  • The PMP designation would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost estimates for company projects, including gas network extension projects, connections of new residential, institutional, and industrial customers, as well as modification and improvement projects of our network.
  • Project management from design to project closure.
  • Help maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate and carry out activities related to project planning in accordance with the company’s technical manuals and specifications, applicable codes, and requirements of external authorities (municipal, governmental, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for the completion of work and obtain required permits.
  • Support timely project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for the region to ensure 24/7 coverage.
