This role is responsible for maintaining knowledge of current and emerging developments/trends in application development, assessing their impact, and collaborating with senior management to incorporate new trends into current and future solutions. The analyst will direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing change management and departmental/enterprise initiatives. They will identify and direct process improvements to enhance quality across the team, department, and business unit. This position provides subject matter expertise to team members and stakeholders on complex assignments and projects, and offers direction on building and enhancing capabilities within their area of responsibility. The analyst will engage with internal stakeholders early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to gather complex business requirements and contribute to Business Requirements Documents. They will determine the scope and depth of testing activities, including developing complex test cases, automation scripts, and test schedules. The role involves delivering and executing complex testing across multiple environments, applying business knowledge to ensure quality throughout the SDLC, and leading the design and implementation of test scenarios and scripts. The analyst will act as the final verification of business functionality and system performance, build complex automated regression test scripts, and provide technical subject matter expertise on software testing issues. They will also provide status reports and metrics, determine best practices and innovative approaches to improve quality processes, and provide training and coaching to junior team members and business resources for user acceptance testing.
