CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Application Dev to analyze and assist with the design and development of enterprise software applications and platforms.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- 6 months of experience in Java, Python, or R
- 6 months of experience in XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- 6 months of experience in Spring Boot microservices
- 6 months of experience in Oracle
- 6 months of experience in JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
- 6 months of experience in Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions
- 6 months of experience in Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases
- 6 months of experience in Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
- 6 months of experience in Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end user feedback and human centered design
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, components, and frameworks to meet business requirements
- Conduct requirements analysis to determine feasibility of design and plan the technical aspects of implementation
- Configure and test software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write, debug, and review high quality code, and track and resolve production issues
- Design and develop applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
