About The Position

Agile Dev Team Members share responsibility for designing, developing, testing, and/or deploying system functionality. This Level IV role provides guidance, mentorship, and training to direct-report Agile Dev team members. The primary discipline may be development or testing. In development, the role provides technical feasibility, follows coding standards, and helps ensure systems are architecturally sound, high in code and component quality, and adaptable to future requirements, with support and little to no guidance from more senior developers or architects. In testing, the role ensures that the end product meets business acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements by defining and executing tests early and at multiple levels, considering exceptions and unexpected user interactions, and using intermediate testing techniques and tools. The position translates customer needs into viable solutions and contributes significantly to system design. It supports implementation, troubleshooting, training, and Agile planning and delivery. The role participates in key ceremonies, helps improve flow and transparency, demonstrates working code, and coaches junior team members. This position supports Google CCaaS solutions and requires production experience with Dialogflow CX, Node.js, GCP services, API integrations, and enterprise integration middleware. The role is hybrid or remote, with employees living within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office expected to work at least three days in the office and up to two days virtually. Applicants beyond 50 miles may also be considered. The work takes place in an open office environment when onsite, with normal distractions, noise, and interruptions.
