LogicMonitor is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Account Executive, Federal to drive growth and transformation for federal civilian agencies by delivering innovative enterprise observability solutions. Your mission is to develop and execute a strategic sales plan, build lasting relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive revenue growth to enhance government operations and citizen services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of enterprise experience, with a proven track record in the federal civilian market.
  • Experience selling or delivering complex technology solutions to government agencies.
  • Familiarity with federal contract vehicles (e.g., NASA SEWP, GSA Schedule).
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and sales cycles.
  • Excellent negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
  • Domestic travel may be required to meet client needs.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, innovation, or problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within federal civilian agencies, including key departments like the Department of Interior, EPA, DOE, and HHS.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging needs, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officers in federal agencies.
  • Create and deliver tailored sales presentations, proposals, and demos to meet agency needs.
  • Navigate government procurement processes, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including solution architects, legal, and product specialists to craft comprehensive solution proposals
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities in the company CRM.
  • Attend industry conferences, government events, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop strategic sales plans for target agencies.
