About The Position

This role involves performing test execution for NPI (New Product Introduction) and Maintenance releases for Firmware, Cloud, and Mobile applications across CLSS, USDD, and Fiplex product lines. The engineer will leverage automation to reduce cycle time, identify automatable test cases, and support the automation test team in developing and utilizing test scripts during Unit testing and Regression cycles. The position also includes providing technical support as a Beta support subject matter expert, developing and executing test cases based on requirements, user stories, and epics, and conducting Defect Triage processes for NPI/Maintenance releases. Additionally, the role requires reviewing functional and non-functional requirements, performing manual functional test execution, driving quality initiatives across Supply Chain, Tech support, and Design Metrics, and reviewing customer documentation and installer guides for feature accuracy. Maintaining hardware lab infrastructure, including servers, PCs, embedded equipment, and test tools, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field of study and ten (10) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

Perform test execution with NPI, Maintenance release for Firmware, Cloud, Mobile application (CLSS, USDD and Fiplex product line).
Leverage Automation to reduce cycle time identify automatable test cases and support automation test team to develop test scenarios and utilize developed scripts during Unit testing /Regression cycle.
Perform technical support as a Beta support subject matter expert.
Develop and execute test cases based on the requirement/User stories/Epic.
Conduct Defect Triage process for NPI/Maintenance release for CLSS, USDD, Fiplex.
Review Functional requirements and Nonfunctional requirements.
Manual Functional Test execution with baselined requirements including NFR requirements.
Drive Quality initiatives including Supply Chain, Tech support, and Design Metrics.
Review customer documentation and installer guide for feature accuracy.
Maintain hardware lab infrastructure including servers, PCs, embedded equipment, and test tools.
