About The Position

As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead pioneering electrical engineering projects in the realms of flight control actuation systems. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components that influence the performance of flight surfaces components. You will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to a dynamic team. You'll work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, driving innovation and enhancing processes to achieve project objectives. This role reports directly to the Senior Engineering Program Manager and is based in Tempe, Arizona, with a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and project management applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering or similar degree.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Electrical design software knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Execute electrical circuit design team project tasks
  • Complete assignments by applying electrical engineering methods
  • Generate Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs)
  • Leverage knowledge of circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems/failures uncovered by circuit card tests
  • Prepare investigation and test results to document findings
