About The Position

As an electrical engineer for SLCM-N, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics for the Sea-Launched Cruise Missile–Nuclear (SLCM-N) Navy program. This role involves developing new and modifying existing electronics in the form of PCB designs, generating design and interface documentation, and designing cable assemblies. The ideal candidate will be proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed signal circuit analysis/design, stay ahead of technology trends, and have experience in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics. A motivated individual who drives innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design, with Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing is desired. The role also requires a collaborative team player committed to ongoing professional development and the ability to identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Background in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics
