This is also a time of exciting growth and change including a move to a state-of-the-art facility. The Sr. Administrative Specialist provides administrative support to assigned faculty and staff. Key tasks include managing schedules, arranging travel, planning meetings, expense reporting, and arranging purchasing. This role maintains important documents for faculty including CVs, biosketches and other grant materials. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective verbal and oral communication skills. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 4+ years experience in administration or related areas
  • Some experience with activities involving planning, organizing and coordinating is important
  • Experience with tasks that involve managing routine or repetitive activities, high attention to detail and clear communication are critical
  • Demonstrated experience working with office technologies including Microsoft Office (Word/ Excel/ Power point etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Effective verbal and oral communication skills
  • Team player with a demonstrated history of great customer service and advanced organizational skills
