As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll be providing administrative and operational support to the Market Vice President (MVP) and the District/Market Office. As a Market Administrative Assistant you’ll build strong working relationships with the leaders supporting the MVP, by coordinating meetings, organizing events, completing payroll and supporting business continuity activities for banking centres within a designated district. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience in various Microsoft Office programs such as MS Office, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.

Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and prioritize the daily activities and schedule of the MVP such as preparing correspondence, reports and presentation materials.
  • Organize the office of the MVP using independent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.
  • Interact with a wide range of individuals in various situations with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Coordinating meetings, organizing events, completing payroll and supporting business continuity activities for banking centres within a designated district.
