The Sr. Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior managers and other partners in the department.

Requirements

  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written) are required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office and Workday)

Nice To Haves

  • Financial Services industry knowledge is preferred
  • Event support knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and executive support to senior manager and other partners in West Michigan
  • Composes and creates documents, spreadsheets and/or presentations
  • Maintains and organizes paper and electronic files. Ensures confidentiality
  • Manages database files
  • Handles and confirms travel arrangements and processes travel expense reimbursements
  • Schedules meetings and conferences
  • Works on special projects, such as gathering, inputting and compiling information for reports as required by manager or other partners in the department
  • May track or monitor expenses for the department
  • May greet or assist clients and/or vendors
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines
  • Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
  • Works effectively as a team member but also independently
  • Business development support
