About The Position

Responsible for providing extensive administrative support for the Executive Section Director, Physician Section Director, Hospitalist Administrative Director and Specialty Physician Director of the Hospital Medicine Section. Provides lead support to Administrative support staff within the Hospital Medicine Section. Performs non-patient care tasks to support CCH mission & vision. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients, their families and co-workers.

Requirements

Post high school office support training or diploma with emphasis on computer applications for word processing and data management required.
3 years Minimum of experience providing clerical support is required.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Basic math computation skills required.
Working knowledge of computer applications used for word processing and data management.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond appropriately to a changing work environment.
Ability to type 75 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with the public is preferred.
