About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the highest standards of fiscal integrity. You will oversee full-cycle accounting, lead complex audits, and drive the implementation of scalable financial systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of comprehensive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a management or leadership capacity, with a proven ability to build and mentor teams.
• Deep expertise in GAAP financial reporting and proficiency with major accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance focus).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience or a strong interest in nonprofit accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting operations with strict compliance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audits, coordinating documentation and ensuring a clean audit.
• Lead accounting system and reporting optimization and automating repetitive tasks.
• Mentor and manage accounting staff, overseeing daily operations including a six-day month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly variance reports and financial statements for the CFO and senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecast results, and provide strategic recommendations for process improvement.
• Streamline the financial reporting and month-end close process to improve accuracy and reduce timelines.
