About The Position

As the only Sr. Accountant of the Cytek Canada Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all administrative duties, be responsible for a variety of finance and accounting related tasks aligning with the corporate finance requirements and support the Cytek Canada sales and operation team with their customer order process. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in general account duties, knowledge of the US GAAP accounting standard.
  • Experience in office administration tasks.
  • Experience in SOX controls working environment.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and writing).
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/ projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Record sales transactions in NetSuite, including invoices and collections.
  • Perform accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
  • Reconcile bank cash transactions in NetSuite and perform month-end cash reconciliations.
  • Manage Canadian payroll processing in compliance with local payroll regulations.
  • Ensure timely payroll processing and accurate reporting of payroll taxes in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Support Canadian employee onboarding and offboarding in partnership with an external payroll provider, review and audit monthly payroll reports.
  • Prepare Canadian financial data for monthly management reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Work closely with local auditors to complete the annual statutory audit.
  • Coordinate with local tax preparers to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
  • Serve as the key contact to ensure Cytek Canada’s compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Support local employees with expense reports and audit expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HQ consolidation team to reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Prepare documentation and obtain required signatures for annual shareholder and board meetings.
  • Manage office and lab supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail.
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports.
  • Manage company seal and bank book in secure manner.
