The Sr Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the Company with accounting, compliance, analysis, reporting and reconciliations. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college or university
Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in Customs Brokerage or Freight Forwarding

Responsibilities

Prepares monthly journal entries as assigned
Analyzes general ledger accounts
Provides intercompany coordination, review, and analysis
Prepares/reviews balance sheet reconciliations for Corporate and Holdings
Assists with compiling and preparing analysis, schedules, and compiling data for the annual financial audit
Assists with compiling data for various tax filings as requested
Assists with US GAAP research of technical accounting positions for complex transactions
