Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with general ledger functions, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to obtain (or already possess) a “Q” clearance

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification or progress toward certification
• Experience in a manufacturing, energy, or regulated industry
• Familiarity with internal controls frameworks and
• Currently possesses a “Q” or “L” clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead critical accounting activities including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Partner cross-functionally to support audits, analyze financial results, and improve processes that drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Take ownership of complex accounting areas
• Assist with internal controls
• Contribute to special projects that support Centrus Energy’s strategic initiatives.
