About The Position

The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for sales strategies, development of business and strategic planning, and customer/program/product line development. They will work closely with multiple teams to represent the sales team’s interest and need’s while enhancing the organization’s partnerships.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 7-10 years of related experience of Sales related roles
  • Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedures
  • Ability to solve practical problems and eal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge in company basic ERP and internet browsing
  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR requirement
  • Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
  • This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. A “U.S. person” according to their definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee, or asylee. See 22 CFR 120.15.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping costs, etc.
  • Communicate with customers and process RFQs, POs, Returns, order follow-ups
  • Possess detailed product knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot customers’ needs and provide adequate solutions
  • Create and build customer relationships by communicating via email and telephone
  • Negotiate prices with customers for potential orders
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments including Shipping & Receiving, Quality, Finance, Operations and Purchasing
  • Recommend products and services that best fit customer needs
  • Review and accurately enter Purchase Orders (Contracts) to ensure can comply with customer’s Terms & Conditions, Quality and Customer Specific Requirements
  • Be cooperative, positive, and respectful with customers, supervisors, and co-workers
  • Performed other duties as assigned
