Position Summary The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic OEM customer relationships and serving as the primary commercial interface with OEM Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive leadership. The role leads RFQs, negotiations, cost recovery initiatives, and supports technical reviews while driving profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business , Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years automotive OEM account management or sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation, financial and commercial acumen.
  • Experience leading RFQs and securing new business awards.
  • Knowledge of APQP, product development and program management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Call on OEM Purchasing Managers, Commodity Buyers, Purchasing Directors and Executive leadership.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, tooling, terms and conditions, logistics , warranty and long-term agreements.
  • Lead RFQ activities from receipt through business award and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Develop quotation strategies and present business cases for approvals .
  • Lead cost recovery efforts related to tariffs, inflation, engineering changes, raw materials and customer-driven impacts.
  • Support technical reviews, APQP activities, product launches and engineering discussions.
  • Monitor account profitability, sales growth and margin improvement actions.
  • Build customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate issue resolution across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance.
