About The Position

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA, with a strong background in both database administration and development, to join our team and actively contribute to process automation and large-scale data collection, in a challenging and collaborative technological environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
• Strong command of T‑SQL and best practices for performance tuning
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Python for automation
• Experience with version control systems (GIT)
• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience with HP OpenView
• Experience with Flyway DB Migrations (Open Source)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Applicants must meet residency or eligibility criteria to work within the country (example: a residence permit or work visa).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of C#
• Knowledge of Azure

Responsibilities

• Administration of SQL Server OLTP and OLAP databases
• Monitoring, performance tuning and optimization
• Implementation and management of partitioning, SSIS and SSRS
• Development of scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python and/or C#
• Implementation and review of large-scale data collection and analysis processes
• Supporting continuous process improvement, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance
