About The Position

This is a contract-to-hire role for a Software Developer with an initial 4-month contract, transitioning to a permanent position. The role requires the developer to be onsite for the first 4 months and then transition to remote work. The position is specifically for current Arizona residents, local to Phoenix only. The developer will be responsible for designing and developing web applications, supporting production systems, analyzing and resolving production problems and end-user service requests, debugging and resolving defects, fixing and developing application changes, completing unit and system testing, preparing technical documentation, and engaging with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements.

Requirements

• SQL expert.
• 3-5 years of SQL server experience.
• SQL Queries
• Stored Procedures
• Ability to write stored procedures, queries, generate SSRS reports
• 3-5 years experience working in SQL
• Design and develop web applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
• Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end-user service requests as assigned.
• Analyzes, debugs, and resolves defects in applications; analyzes and resolves development issues in a timely manner; proactively solves complex problems.
• Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
• Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work.
• Prepares technical documentation on application specifications and creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.
• Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
