About The Position

This is a temporary, onsite SQL Developer position in Miami, FL, with an estimated duration of 12 months and possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client’s site. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The position involves the full lifecycle of database development, including SQL Database design and the creation of complex SSIS packages for data integration. Responsibilities include coding high-performance SQL queries, using DBeaver for table and field management, working with developers and DBAs, reading data from FOCUS systems in Postgres, rigorous data validation, designing and implementing database structures for legacy system migration to FOCUS, and applying current application development methodologies.

Requirements

• IT work experience as a SQL Programmer with Databases design using Microsoft SQL server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS packages).
• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Programmer.
• Experience in DEV OPS environments and deployments.
• Legacy system migration experience.
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Miami, FL.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in API development.
• Experience with DBeaver (managing and building tables/fields).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the full lifecycle of database development, from initial SQL Database design to the creation of complex SSIS packages for seamless data integration.
• Coding high-performance, efficient SQL queries and utilizing “DBeaver” to manage and build the specific tables and fields required to house critical organizational data.
• Work with our Developers and interact with Database Administrators as needed.
• Reading data from FOCUS systems in Postgres as needed.
• Rigorous data validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of every record processed.
• Design and implementation of robust database structures to support our current Students Information legacy system migration to FOCUS system.
• Apply the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies.
