Requirements

2+ years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining fire protection systems.
Knowledge of sprinkler systems, codes, and regulations in Ontario.
Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work on remote sites and participate in overtime (per collective agreement).

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as Red Seal Sprinkler Fitter.

Responsibilities

Performing a wide range of fire services, including installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and sprinkler systems.
Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals.
Evaluating plans, customer requests, codes, and non-conformance issues for solutions.
Preparing stock materials for daily work orders and optimizing material use.
Supporting take-offs and preparing proposals/quotations as needed.
Completing daily reports on work orders and activities.
Ensuring adherence to safety practices and demonstrating leadership.
Mentoring team members, apprentices, and field service labor.
Participating in 24/7 on-call emergency service.
