Requirements

2+ years of experience installing, servicing, or maintaining fire protection systems.
Knowledge of sprinkler systems, codes, and regulations in Ontario.
Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Valid driver’s license.
Willingness to work on remote sites and participate in overtime (per collective agreement).

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as Red Seal Sprinkler Fitter (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of fire services, including installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and sprinkler systems.
Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and manuals.
Evaluate plans, customer requests, codes, and non-conformance issues for solutions.
Prepare stock materials for daily work orders, optimize material use.
Support take-offs and prepare proposals/quotations as needed.
Complete daily reports on work orders and activities.
Ensure adherence to safety practices and demonstrate leadership.
Mentor team members, apprentices, and field service labor.
Participate in 24/7 on-call emergency service.
