This internship takes place during the Spring, typically beginning in early January and ending in May/June. Join EveryMind’s Community Education team for a hands-on internship experience supporting community mental health education across the region. Interns will work side by side with experienced staff to help coordinate and deliver some of our trainings such as Mental Health First Aid, QPR, 988 awareness, and other community education programs. They will assist with outreach, training logistics, participant communication, materials, events, data collection, and follow-up, while gaining opportunities to observe and participate in training delivery and, with appropriate preparation and supervision, facilitate select trainings or training components. Interns will work with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, educators, parents, caregivers, and other community members, developing valuable skills in public speaking, community outreach, program coordination, communication, nonprofit operations, and program evaluation. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in mental health education while making a meaningful impact by reducing stigma, increasing mental health awareness, and connecting communities with valuable resources and support.
