About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for spreadsheet QA and workbook review professionals experienced in reviewing Excel and Google Sheets workbooks, formulas, models, dashboards, tables, charts, formatting, documentation, and presentation-ready business artifacts for accuracy, rigor, clarity, and domain quality. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on spreadsheet QA, workbook review, rubric-based evaluation, document and spreadsheet assessment, slide deck quality review, structured feedback, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will evaluate AI-generated work products and apply subject-matter expertise to identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, formula, formatting, and presentation issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in spreadsheet QA, workbook review, Excel modeling, Google Sheets modeling, financial modeling, analytics, reporting, workbook documentation, or related work
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, Word, and Google Docs
  • Ability to evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to provide structured feedback
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets expertise, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, VBA, Apps Script, dashboards, or model auditing
  • Experience creating or reviewing financial models, planning workbooks, reporting dashboards, tracker files, calculation tools, or spreadsheet templates
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet QA checklists, formula auditing, version control, workbook documentation, and model review standards
  • Strong ability to evaluate both spreadsheet substance and visual/presentation quality

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks involving workbook design, formulas, calculations, tables, dashboards, charts, and spreadsheet-based analysis
  • Review spreadsheets for accuracy, completeness, structure, usability, and practical relevance
  • Assess formulas, references, data validation, named ranges, PivotTables, workbook logic, and calculation flow
  • Identify broken formulas, inconsistent references, unclear assumptions, weak workbook structure, or poor linkage between inputs and outputs
  • Review workbook materials involving financial models, trackers, dashboards, reporting files, planning templates, analysis files, and calculation tools
  • Assess whether workbook design is clean, maintainable, logically organized, and easy to review
  • Identify formatting inconsistencies, hidden errors, stale assumptions, duplicated logic, incomplete labels, or unclear outputs
  • Provide clear written feedback that improves spreadsheet quality and artifact usefulness
  • Review spreadsheets for structure, logic, calculations, formatting, usability, and consistency
  • Assess slide decks for organization, visual clarity, executive readability, and presentation quality
  • Identify factual, aesthetic, formatting, and presentation errors across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace files
  • Apply consistent review standards across documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
