Requirements

• No problems wearing spray applicator suits, full face respirators, or chemical-resistant apparel.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Perform simple calculations.
• Willing to learn.
• Detail oriented.
• Keep the area neat and organized.
• Have or are willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides).
• Keeping up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory.
• Keeping records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Apply fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Update spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheets.
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders.
• General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment.
• Over time, be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues.
