About The Position

St. Petersburg Country Club is seeking a Full-Time Spray Technician to join their team. This role involves making chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of the Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent. Responsibilities include detailed record keeping, inventory management, and maintenance/calibration of application equipment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, communicates well, has a positive attitude, and is well-organized. Requirements

  • A valid State issued Driver’s License.
  • Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines.
  • Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on a golf course is preferred but not required.
  • A pesticide license is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Making all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of Assistant Superintendent and Superintendent.
  • Detailed record keeping.
  • Inventory management.
  • Maintenance / calibration of spray and fertilizer application equipment.
  • Spray selective and non-selective herbicides.
  • Perform fertilizer applications on all playing surfaces.
  • May help with other tasks on the golf course as directed by supervisor.
