About The Position

Simply Organics is seeking a dedicated Spray Technician to maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties. This role involves applying fertilizers, weed control, mosquito control, outdoor pest control, fire ant control, and treatments for diseases and pests on ornamental trees and shrubs. The technician will also be responsible for organizing daily tasks, managing customer relationships, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and selling add-on services to existing clients while developing new customers.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license and have a history of safe driving.
• Ability to pass a re-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
• At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle).
• Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires.
• Friendly and dedicated to great customer service.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
• Encourage a positive team atmosphere and willingness to help others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties.
• Apply fertilizer and weed control to clients’ lawns.
• Apply mosquito, outdoor pest, and fire ant control treatments.
• Apply treatments for disease and pests on ornamental trees and shrubs.
• Organize production and service calls.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Schedule wear-and-tear vehicle maintenance.
• Fill company vehicle tanks with appropriate chemicals.
• Drive company service vehicles on service routes.
• Sell add-on services to existing clients and develop new customers.
