Lawn Care Technician
About The Position
Lawn Doctor in Washingtonville NY is seeking to fill a temporary position from now until Nov 1st, working 3 to 5 days a week. This experience will prepare you for a permanent seasonal position next spring (starting in March). The applicant should be in good physical shape, able to arrive at 7:30 am daily, drive a truck, find addresses, and work at an efficient pace. You will be working outdoors in various weather conditions. This job is not for everyone; you must WANT to work in this industry. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to safely operate machinery and lawn care equipment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Responsibilities
- Apply lawn care treatments including fertilization, weed control, and soil health applications
- Perform lawn aeration, overseeding, power seeding, and turf improvement services
- Provide mosquito, tick, and outdoor pest control treatments
- Operate lawn care equipment and service vehicles safely and efficiently
- Educate customers on lawn health, maintenance recommendations, and additional service options
- Maintain accurate service records and route documentation
- Assist with shop organization, equipment maintenance, and daily preparation
- Meet productivity goals while delivering exceptional customer service
