We are actively looking to hire talented LPNs in the area, who are passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence. We are seeking Licensed Registered Nurses that are licensed in Michigan. The role involves overseeing the daily operations and management of clinical therapies under the direction of the Physician. The LPN will create a positive, relaxing, and professional work environment. Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining weight and vitals, reviewing relevant medical information and current medications, starting and administering therapies, and administering medications as indicated and ordered. The LPN will also review all screeners related to the patient’s appointment and alert the physician if abnormal or high scores are reported. Providing clear patient instructions and education regarding treatments, ensuring all relevant documentation and consents are signed before starting treatment, and confirming accurate medication dosages before administration are key. The LPN must ensure correct patient identification is obtained before starting treatment and thoroughly monitor and assess patients throughout their stay. Assessing the patient’s physical and mental status before allowing discharge from the clinic and alerting the physician for corrective action if needed are also crucial. Maintaining clinical logs for compliance and accuracy, ensuring clinic prep is complete for the next shift, and reviewing intakes and collaborating with the physician regarding new patients are required. The LPN will maintain and securely store patient charts, establish professional relationships with patients, and ensure timely submission of charting and documentation. Maintaining an orderly configuration for the storage of supplies, monitoring and reporting inventory requirements, and complying with DEA regulations for controlled substances are also part of the role. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and ensuring patient education folders and handouts are available are expected. The role may occasionally involve assisting with daily nursing tasks such as rooming patients, charting, med refills, PA’s, responding to telephone encounters, referrals, etc.
