About The Position

We are actively looking to hire talented LPNs in the area, who are passionate about patient care and committed to clinical excellence. We are seeking Licensed Registered Nurses that are licensed in Michigan. The role involves overseeing the daily operations and management of clinical therapies under the direction of the Physician, creating a positive, relaxing, and professional work environment, and greeting and rooming patients. Responsibilities include obtaining weight and vitals, reviewing relevant medical information and current medications, starting and administering therapies, and administering medications as indicated and ordered. The LPN will also review screeners related to the patient's appointment and alert the physician if abnormal or high scores are reported, provide clear patient instructions and education regarding treatments, and ensure all relevant documentation and consents are signed before starting treatment. Additionally, the role requires ensuring adequate medication dosages, confirming accurate doses before administration, obtaining correct patient identification chairside before starting treatment, and monitoring and assessing patients thoroughly throughout their stay. The LPN will assess the patient's physical and mental status before allowing discharge, alerting the physician and ensuring corrective action if needed. Maintaining clinical logs for compliance and accuracy, ensuring clinic prep is complete for the next shift, reviewing intakes and collaborating with the physician regarding new patients, and maintaining and securely storing patient charts are also key duties. Establishing professional relationships with patients, timely submission of charting and documentation, maintaining an orderly configuration for supply storage, monitoring and reporting inventory requirements, and complying with DEA regulations of controlled substances are expected. The LPN will maintain a safe and clean working environment and ensure patient education folders and handouts are made available. Occasional assistance with daily nursing tasks like rooming patients, charting, med refills, PA's, responding to telephone encounters, and referrals may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all clinical logs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensure clinic prep is complete for the next shift.
  • Review intakes and collaborate with physician regarding new patients.
  • Maintain and securely store patient charts.

  • Ensure patient education folders and handouts are made and available.
  • Occasionally assist with daily nursing task as available and when needed. (IE: Rooming patients, charting, med refills, PA’s, responding to telephone encounters, referrals, etc.)
