About The Position

This position involves moving empty trailers to and from loading docks, inspecting trailers for safety and cleanliness, organizing loads to prevent service failures, and maintaining accurate paperwork. The role also includes cleaning the truck dock and yard when time permits, and performing other necessary duties.

Requirements

• Must be over age 21.
• Six (6) months driving experience after graduating from driving school or one year over the road.
• Requires a Class A CDL.
• Requires a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Must have consistent on-time performance.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Moving empty trailers from the trailer staging area to the loading docks and back to the loaded trailer area.
• Inspecting trailers for safety and cleanliness.
• Organizing loads to insure no service failures to the customer.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Cleaning truck dock and truck yard when time allows.
• Other duties as necessary.
