About The Position

This position is responsible for performing essential duties satisfactorily, requiring knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet job demands. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with 1-3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience driving a semi. Strong language skills are needed for reading, interpreting, and writing documents, as well as effective communication. The ability to apply common sense and problem-solve in standardized situations is essential. A valid State Issued Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License status are mandatory, with a Class A CDL License being preferred. Good driving skills are required, and computer and radio frequency laser use may be necessary. The job involves frequent lifting of over 100 lbs and requires specific vision abilities. The work environment includes regular work in outside weather conditions, frequent work in high, precarious places, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration, and occasional work near moving mechanical parts and in wet/humid conditions. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience driving semi.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must possess and maintain State Issued Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License status.
Good driving skills required.
Use of computer may be required.
Use of radio frequency laser may be required.
Must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
