About The Position

This role involves washing and sanitizing reefer trailers to prepare them for loading, as well as washing livestock trailers. The job requires operating a pressure washer with approximately 2500lbs of pressure, using provided chemicals for external trailer washing, and maintaining a log of washed trailers. Additionally, the position involves identifying and reporting any faulty equipment. A significant part of the role includes moving trailers within the yard, which involves constantly climbing up and down a shag truck and backing up trailers approximately 50% of the time. Responsibilities also include arranging trailers in designated parking spaces, opening and closing trailer doors, and working in inclement weather. The role may also require driving a fuel truck within the yard to fill trailers.

Requirements

  • Must be able to wash & sanitize reefer trailers to be loaded.
  • Must be able to wash livestock trailers.
  • Wash gun has approximately "2500lbs" of pressure.
  • Wash trailers on the outside with provided chemicals through pressure washer.
  • Maintain a log of washed trailers & report/identify any faulty equipment.
  • Climb up/down a shag truck constantly to shag trailers in/out of the loading docks.
  • Backing up a trailer is about 50% of the total work.
  • Arrange trailers in the yard in their designated parking spaces.
  • Open/Close trailer doors.
  • Work in inclement weather.
  • Drive fuel truck in the yard to fill trailers.
  • Able to read & write English is a plus.
  • CDL is not required.
