FanDuel•Jersey City, NJ
•$74,000 - $82,500•Hybrid

About The Position

FanDuel is hiring a Sports Trader to join its Trading Team and help shape sports betting odds and markets. The role involves learning to price football or hockey markets, with fundamental NBA knowledge used to assist with live basketball trading. No prior trading or gambling experience is required; hands-on training is provided in sports betting, pricing models, data, news monitoring, and customer behavior. This is a hybrid position based in Jersey City, New Jersey, with office presence required. The role is predominantly in-office for training and core trading duties, in an open, hot-desk workspace with multiple monitors, televisions, and constant office noise. Regular late shifts, typically 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. ET during the NBA season, and weekend work are required. Traders work approximately 50–70 weekend shifts per year, while working five days per week. Over time, the trader is expected to develop the confidence and expertise to price markets independently, manage risk, and help shape the customer sports betting experience. The position may also involve occasional duties supporting evolving business needs.
