Sports Recovery Specialist
About The Position
The Sports Recovery Specialist sells and conducts private and small-group training and provides recovery services to UFC GYM members. Recovery services may include manual therapy, massage, myofascial release, assisted stretching, and other recovery modalities. The role supports member engagement in private training and recovery offerings, administers client programs and related records, and participates in activities that generate revenue. Specialists are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and attentive for appointments. The posted compensation is $30.00–$60.00 per hour, with a competitive base salary plus bonus also mentioned.
Requirements
- Be a licensed massage therapist (LMT), athletic trainer, or physical therapist, or have experience with recovery modalities.
- Have in-depth knowledge of private training techniques, from assessment through program design.
- Have a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
- Have current dotFIT certification or be in progress toward it.
Responsibilities
- Sell and conduct private and small-group training with members.
- Provide manual therapy, massage, myofascial release, assisted stretching, or other recovery modalities to members.
- Assist members and encourage their involvement in private training and recovery services and modalities.
- Accurately administer client programs, including dotFIT, supplements, measurement tracking, workouts, and recovery programs.
- Arrive on time, prepared, and attentive for all appointments.
- Assist with revenue-generating activities, including complimentary workouts, recovery booths, body fat tables, seminars, and workshops.
