About The Position
The Mason City Parks and Recreation department is hiring Sports & Rec Staff for soccer, football, volleyball, and basketball leagues this fall and winter. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of these sports leagues. Available positions include Youth Sports Coach, Youth Sports Official, and Youth & Adult Sports Supervisor. Positions will be filled as qualified applications are received and as needed throughout the season.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older (for Coach and Supervisor roles).
- Must be 14 years of age or older (for Official role).
- Experience is considered for pay rate.
Responsibilities
- Help keep the game running smoothly for soccer, football, volleyball, and basketball leagues.
- Coaching youth sports.
- Officiating youth and adult sports.
- Supervising youth and adult sports.
