The Outpatient Physical Therapy Specialist I will perform evaluations, determine diagnoses, develop a plan of care, and perform procedures as allowed by referral to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. In addition to all the responsibilities of a staff therapist, the Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist I will also treat a patient population specific to a physical therapy board certification recognized by the APTA (Orthopedic, Sports, Women's Health, Neurologic) and/or clinical specialization (Certified Hand Therapist, Pelvic Floor, Lymphedema) that bears necessary contact hour requirement/past clinical experience as determined by therapy leadership.
