About The Position

Serving the needs of the surrounding communities, Willoughby Hills Family Health Center offers patients a wide variety of pediatric, family medicine, radiology and cardiology services. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based care to help patients improve strength, range of motion, endurance, coordination, and overall functional mobility. This position requires strong communication skills, sensitivity to patients experiencing pain, and the ability to build trust through hands-on, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic exercise and manual therapy, utilizing treatment modalities such as electrical stimulation and blood flow restriction, and supporting daily clinical operations by maintaining a clean and organized workspace. A caregiver in this position works part time| 32 hours or as needed| day shift| M-Th, 7:30am—7:00pm or Fri, 7:30am—4:00pm. All locations are in our East Region, but their "home base" will be Willoughby Hills| this is a float position so the employee can be anywhere in our east region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or certificate
  • Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinical area
  • Dry needling background

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
  • Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
  • Supervise activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.
