About The Position

Sports Medicine Physical Therapist position in the sports medicine physical therapy program at one of Select Physical Therapy’s Centers of Excellence. The role is full-time, with compensation starting at $80,000 per year, a $20,000 bonus, and student loan repayment assistance. The clinician joins a collaborative group of five experienced clinicians providing care to a diverse patient population, from active youth to older adults. The clinic specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and offers opportunities to work with athletic patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Current state physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).
• ATC or CSCS.
• Experience with return-to-sport testing and performance programming.
• Previous experience working with competitive athletes.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain all required corporate and clinical services training, and maintain compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Evaluate and treat patients, direct their treatment, and document care.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors.
• Attend and participate in center meetings as directed by the center manager.
