About The Position

Soccer Shots is looking for a passionate intern to serve children ages 2-8! This internship offers a fun and relevant experience for those interested in coaching and learning about the sports world. Interns will be the best part of a child’s week, serving as energetic coaches and supporting the 'behind-the-scenes' objectives of Soccer Shots. Families rave about our coaches who spark passion for the game and help build confidence in kids. The role involves conducting soccer sessions, building local engagement, engaging in management shadowing, developing social media content, bringing "Soccer Island" alive, encouraging character development, utilizing expert-created curriculum, following safety protocols, and communicating effectively with families, staff, and teachers.

No prior sports/coaching experience required

Responsibilities

Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old.
Build local engagement through the power of sports.
Engage in management shadowing and leadership development.
Develop quality social media content.
Bring “Soccer Island” alive to kids with your enthusiasm and creativity.
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum.
Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
Communicate effectively with families, staff, and teachers.
