About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking experienced and engaging Sports & Fitness Instructors for potential independent contractor assignments delivering after-school enrichment programs at partner schools and community locations. Programs introduce students to healthy movement, physical fitness, teamwork, and sports fundamentals through structured, age-appropriate activities in a positive learning environment. Assignments aim to promote confidence, sportsmanship, physical literacy, and lifelong healthy habits. Assignment details vary by school, including grade level, schedule, duration, enrollment, and program focus. Depending on the assignment, instructors may lead team sports, fitness and conditioning, agility and coordination activities, cardio games, age-appropriate bodyweight exercises, yoga and stretching, cooperative games, and education about sportsmanship, goal setting, and healthy lifestyles. Instructors are expected to provide organized, engaging instruction and maintain a safe, inclusive, appropriately supervised environment aligned with school expectations and Concorde Education standards. Schedules are typically 1–4 instructional hours per week, primarily after school. Programs generally run for approximately 8–10 weeks per assignment, with rolling opportunities based on partner school schedules. Compensation starts at $50+ per instructional hour and varies by assignment and individual factors; details are communicated before assignment acceptance. Applying does not guarantee placement, assignment offers, minimum hours, future work, or continued engagement. Applicants who move forward may undergo screening, provide documentation, complete onboarding, and establish an independent contractor profile. Assignment offers depend on program availability, qualifications, school approval, schedule compatibility, required background review or clearance, and written confirmation.
