Sports Coordinator
About The Position
Shepherd Church is seeking an energetic leader to serve as a Sports Coordinator. This role involves confidently coaching, organizing, and communicating across a wide range of programs. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading on the field or court and managing logistics behind the scenes. This person values teamwork, maintains strong relationships with staff and volunteers, and demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism. A heart for mentorship and the ability to lead group devotionals is also desired. The position requires a flexible schedule that involves evenings and weekend hours on a regular basis. The coordinator must be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding program standards while fostering a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide coaches, volunteers, and participants.
- Strong computer and organizational skills including managing schedules, rosters, stats, and standings.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adhere to the Statement of Faith, upholding biblical principles in all aspects of work and life.
- Be prepared to share the hope you have in Christ.
- As a representative of Christ, be ready to gently and respectfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ at all times.

- Experience working in an office or church ministry environment is a plus.
